We are aware that sometimes people see an error that looks a bit like this:

"Error 503 Service Unavailable Service Unavailable Guru Meditation: XID: 669946158 Varnish cache"

When you do see one of these, please copy and paste it in here - it is particularly the number after the XID that we are interested in.

Were you trying to view the forum itself (i.e. this page: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=96) or a thread within the forum?

I think I had clicked a link out of a thread into that forum. The 503 appeared under the url ?f=96 though.
