    Flatmates needed!
Hey, To anyone that hasn't sorted out their accommodation please contact me. Looking to make up a group of boys to move into a house next year at Kingston University. I've heard all the accommodation emails have been sent out so if you know that you still want to move out and didn't get halls i'm looking to make up a group of 3/4. Let me know asap so we can get a deposit sorted out on a house around the area before they all go/the rent goes higher!

    REPEAT OF PREVIOUS.

Accommodation emails won't all have been sent out, as UK results day hasn't been, I found out about halls on 20th august last year. there is a cut off date for APPLYING to halls, however don't know that date. There are also quite a few rooms available and email accommodation as if you have a place confirmed by the uni and are 100% going there, they can give you access to certain things that you can't see without a password.

from having trawled the vast majority of estate agents this year in kingston, this is roughly what you'd expect to pay and have available as a deposit:

    6 weeks rent as deposit
    first months rent
    £100-£150 admin fee each

I'm also in a flat, that has 2 spare rooms, but you'll have to go through estate agents, message me for info for rooms though. ones a single and ones a double and they are cheap for Kingston, ideal for Kingston Hill/Roehampton Vale, but people at PR/KP the uni bus goes past and bus stop bout minute away.

Would you say £120 a week is a decent price for somewhere near Penryhn Road.

Also if I PM'd you the information page of a property I found would you be able to tell me if it was worth pushing forward with it.

be aware that is likely to not include bills. there is cheaper about. there is something called daily vacancy list and you may find cheaper, but you need to speak to accommodation. and I will happily do that for you.

My house is in Kingston Vale, but it's bout 20 mins on uni bus, and is a lot cheaper than that.

Apparently there's a flat viewing at the Uni tonight or something like that at 6.30.

keep an eye out on rightmove and student spareroom, have you got access to daily vacancy list? If not email accommodation, they can give you access.

Double rooms can be expensive and don't think i've seen any below £400 pcm

You can live anywhere in Kingston as getting up to Kingston Hill is easy.

You can go as far down as Surbiton/Tolworth for sure, I know some people living in Chessington who go up to Kingston Hill and takes them bout 20 minutes by bus.

i have looked around but until know no success i even looked around to rent a whole house and then share with people but its really expensive for 5 bedroom al above £2500

If you have access to the daily vacancy list look on there (if not email accommodation and they should be able to give you the details to get on it. There is a 3 bed flat atm (£92.30 a week) and a 7 bed house (£92.50 a week) at the moment as well as a lot of other properties so that's worth a look
It's also better than going through a letting agent as I had to pay so many extra costs through an estate agent in my first year than I've had to with a house from the daily vacancy list in my second year!
