You just need life experience for section II, I wouldn't know sociology if it stood in front of me with a flag saying 'hi, I'm sociology'! And my highest score was in section II ( think I got 74).

The first answer is to be written in a more factual, impersonal, debate type of answer, whereas the second question can be answered in a more personal tone, and can be written in 1st person, use personal experiences.

There is the Griffiths method of memorising the starting phrases of paragraphs but personally I don't like that method, in fact I don't like the Griffiths gamsat guide at all, but that's my personal opinion, I know plenty of people swear by it.

My degree was biochemistry with genetics but I graduated about a million years ago ( actually 11 years ago) and my overall score was 67.

Ive worked in healthcare for over 10 years, most recently in forensic psychology.

When I was preparing for gamsat, I used a forum called pagingdr. It's an Australian one with lots of helpful stuff, I printed off a list of quotes from there, put them in an envelope and picked one out at random every day for a few weeks, then I practiced writing essays. I didn't time myself until after I'd done the first few as practice. It must have worked, I got 64 in that section (and I'm normally terrible at essay writing, especially under pressure). I'm now 1/4 of my way through my final year at Nottingham. Scary stuff.

Also, Griffiths gamsat review was awesome.

I' m not revising much for II. As an arts grad, it's section III I need to worry about.
