Interview Help?
Hi, im new to the student room
, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on interviews
? I have an interview this friday for college and I really want to get a place in this course. Its at Stow College in Glasgow and it is to study for a bachlor of science degree, and if you are successful then it guarantees a place at the 2nd year of a science degree at the university of the West of Scotland where I would like to study Biomedical Science which is what im wanting to do. This will be my first interview and im really nervous
, anyone have any tips? what kind of questions will they ask? and what questions should I ask them? Thanks

Re: Interview Help?Just stay calm and present yourself in a good way. They'll probably ask you (I could be completely wrong, it may be an informal interview) why you want to study the course, what you're interested in about it, maybe why Stow College, etc. Just be yourself
Try and look for any info on their website of what the interview will be like/other people's experiences of it.

I meant that it could be informal as in you just go and they tell you more about the course and they just really want to know if you're interested which they'll get by you turning up, but it probably will be more formal with them asking you a few questions. You say you really need it so you obviously want it and I'm sure your interest in the course will come across then
Um, maybe ask a bit more about the course so it shows your interest. I don't really know if there's optional modules you can chose or something you could ask more about or something like that?
