Hello!
I thought a wee companion thread would be nice o.o
I really liked Rose, I thought she could sort of hold her own pretty well, and naturally I adore Jack XD

Also a big fan of Donna, I thought she was great. Martha was a bit whiny but I thought she was quite good too

I don't really like Amy or Rory that much, but then again I don't like the new series' with Matt Smith at all for some reason, just can't watch them anymore which saddens me

So, what do you think of the companions of the revived series of Doctor Who, form the Eccleston days to the Smith days?

Much as I love Donna...I think my favourite is Rose. I started watching the revived series in 2005 when I was about 10, and as someone who knew next to nothing about Doctor Who, I sort of watched the show from Rose's perspective, in a way. I was gutted when she left Her return to the show in Series 4 was a bit meh, but I'm glad they resolved the whole Doctor/Rose relationship (though her send off in Doomsday was better - much better - I did want to see them together in the end )

Donna was the funniest and most entertaining, but the first two seasons with Rose in were the only ones where I was really really into the show, so I'd say Rose.

I like Jack and Rory too. I would like River, but I really hate her relationship with the doctor.

This is a hard one!
I loved Donna because she was just a mate for the Doctor, but I am also a big fan of Martha. I love Rory too (definitely a lot more than amy!) and I can't decide between the three of them!

Also : almost / kind of companions : Wilfred Mott by far!

Rose because the doctor loved her, proved he had two hearts pretty much always racing for her. He really cared about her and in series 3 you could
Tell he loved her.

Donna is definitely second by far! I love how witty she and the doctor are! I like the fact he was just friends with her which was refreshing to see

Awww the Rose part is definitely true!
I really like that he never really loved anyone else after Rose was gone.
