    PGDipEd Bursary Question
Hi everyone, I'm applying for a PGDipEd at Birmingham Uni through clearing. I understand the general bursary situation for the priority subjects (maths, physics, chem, mfl), but the PGDipEd is a 2 year course and there are no tuition fees for the first year ...

Can anyone tell me, is the stated bursary figure (£20k for 1st degree, £15k for 2.1 etc) split over the 2 years pro rata, or is it per year? So if I have a 1st degree, would I get £10k per year or £20k per year?

I'd really appreciate a speedy response as clearing is a bit of a manic nightmare!!

Thanks everyone in advance and looking forward to hopefully studying with some of you very soon

If you are trying to get into the 1-Year PGDipEd for Maths then you are wasting your time as the course is full and has been for some months.

If it is the 2-year conversion option, I do not know the funding arrangements other than there are no tuition fees for that particular year. Contact the provider, details on the website:
