Where to get blood pressure checked for free?Are there any places (other than a doctors surgery/hospital) where you can get blood pressure checked for free? I have a really strong pulse and I thought I should get it checked out. Can you get it checked at a chemist or something?

Re: Where to get blood pressure checked for free?I think lots of pharmacies will check free (I'm nearly 100% sure my local Sainsbury's pharmacy will check it for free).
Or just book an appointment with your GP (or nurse at your GP's surgery) -

Re: Where to get blood pressure checked for free?GPs' surgeries sometimes have a machine in the foyer for members of the public to use by themselves. No consultation needed, just turn up, go to the machine and read the instructions.(Original post by jonnny)

Alternatively you can buy a monitor from Argos for about £20.
