Want to go travelling but have no one to with!!
Hey there,
I really, really want to go travelling before I start uni again in September. But the problem is I have no one to go with. All my friends have already been but I couldn't go with them because I was working.
So I want to know how I can find someone else to go travelling with i.e. like a travelling buddy? Are there are any websites or forums where I can find someone?
I don't want to go on my own as I've never been travelling before.
P.S: If someone on here wants to come travelling with me then please do let me know
I'm planning on going to Europe

Hey
I know you said you don't want to go alone, but it's definitely worth the initial fear/anxiousness! I went to South America alone this year and it was so easy to meet people in hostels. I'm sure it's the same in Europe with a well developed tourist/backpacker trail. If you don't want to this, I'm sure there are organised tours you could join or maybe try and find companions on travbuddy or the lonely planet forums (google these), which has a 'Travel Companions' section.
Good luck! -

Your seriously gonna ruin your experience by going with someone...go alone. You'll see straight away if you find a travel buddy, that you will have to change/comprimise your plans immediately. As mentioned, its easy to meet people in hostels as long as you have decent social skills.

traveling alone is actually pretty epic if u get around doing it. also, u can always meet people where ever you go, especially if you stay in places where there's loads of young travellers (there are loads of websites for good tips). there are also pub crawls and stuff for people who travel on their own or just otherwise wanna meet new people and such. my friends went for one in germany and by the sounds of it, it was the most amazing night of their lives. i travel on my own quite a lot and its kinda exciting just throwing yourself out there and not knowing what's gonna happen

I did Italy and France alone. It was better than what I imagine it would be with other people. Saying that I'm not particularly fond of holidaying with other people. I always have to have my own way which causes friction. I think it would be a better experience alone. Just my opinion.
