    Hi,
    I can't seem to find netbooks with a 11 or 12" screen.
    Any suggestions please?

Only 5 there though :/ when I got mine in December, they had loads. They were a lot cheaper too.

    Have you looked on amazon?

Asus Zenbook Prime or the Macbook Air. No contest compared to these two.

Yeah just noticed the topic now, oops.

Sure I read ultrabooks. In that case: Don't bother with a netbook, just get a 13" laptop.

After a lot of searching, I've found 5 of them at Comet: http://www.comet.co.uk/c/Laptops/Net...e|1&perPage=12

Out of the laptops listed there, I'd recommend the Asus one - as well as having a better CPU than the Acer ones, it also has better battery life. It's quite good value for 299.99.

I don't know what's happened recently, whether it's because of smartphones/tablets/larger laptops, or because they're trying to replace them with these silly 'ultrabooks', but nowhere seems to be selling or manufacturing netbooks/small laptops any more.
It's a shame really because I, and also many other people, like laptops to be small and easy to carry, and as laptops are mainly used for web browsing, office work, and possibly some light multimedia, netbooks are more than powerful enough as well. Mine uses the AMD Vision E350 (1.6 Dual Core) and that is powerful enough to play 720p video on an external monitor, while being efficient enough to last 5-7 hours on a single charge (not bad considering the manufacturer claims 'up to 5 hours').
