Help!? Self-taught gcse but registered through a centre
I managed to prepare some IGCSE's on my own last year which my centre wasn't offering but in the end registered the exams through the school. I'm registering with UCAS right now. My igcse certificate names my centre but I want universities to know that the course was self-taught.

Should I enter those IGCSE's in UCAS with my centre's name selected or should I type 'self-taught'?

p.s. Im applying as an international candidate (if that matters :P)

Enter them with the name of your centre and get your referee to say they were self taught in your reference. You can't just leave the centre name out because it shows you actually took the exams; without writing in the centre it will look like you haven't done the exams.

You have to put the centre or there's no way of proving you took (and hopefully passed) the exams. However if you write in your Personal Statement or Reference that they were self-taught then that would still get the point across
