    Extra curricular time line
I've just finished year 12 and I think in the distant future, I want a job in finance because of the money and I want to live in a big city.

I've read around on this forum and I've realized I'll need an internship and to get an internship I'll need to have a good application.

What can I do now to improve my application for the future?

I have no contacts working in an investment bank but one of my uncles is a manager at a high street bank.

I have had work experience shadowing a doctor if thats helpful at all.

Most people that have or make a lot of money and live in a big city don't work in finance... just a heads up.

    - Ask your uncle about getting experience or volunteering.
    - Volunteer at a charity shop
    - Fundraise at school
