need work exp

    need work exp
    Im currently a a level student who is thinking about doing a degree in computer science and cant find / dont no where to look for work experience i would really like to find some as ii dont no whether this is the carer and i need something to put on my ucas i like in the Hertfordshire area cant anyone point me in the right direction to find work exp for this month

    Something to do with scripting,
    apply to work with the local Curry's/Pc-world tech guys that fix computers.

    What relevance does working in Curry's have to Computer Science? Should prospective Mathematics students go work selling calculators in WHSmith?

    For UCAS you definately don't need any work experience in Computer Science. It would be very difficult to get very relevant work experience, because most companies won't have use for someone without a bit more knowledge. The best EC you can probably do is a bit of outside programming/maths which shows that you are passionate enough to go do it in your free time.
