    Windows 8 and console/handheld emulators?
    Hello,

Inbetween October-December I will be getting a Windows 8 Ultrabook/Tablet hybrid. Hopefully the ASUS Taichi if it goes for around £1000 at launch or run up to xmas discount.

Looking at the specs.. Will it be able to run a PS2, Gamecube, Xbox (Original) emulator well?

My second question is if Microsoft are adding Xbox 360 support? For example can I use a USB Disk drive (HD/DVD probs) and pop in Gears of War 3 and play using a Xbox 360 wireless PC Controller?

If the answer is no.. will the emulator community make a 360 Emulator? But then this begs the question regarding signing into Xbox live and stuff which you can do with Windows 8 but.. would Microsoft allow such a thing? In my opinion it would be great for us consumers but perhaps bad for Xbox 360 sales. Then again.. 360 sales are slowing down and the 720 is pretty much around the corner (End of 2013 I bet).

Will appreciate some answers and/or further insight

Not sure I can answer, processor will be plenty powerful enough for them but I can't find what graphics options are available (they hadn't been confirmed as of June but not sure if they have since).

Is there even a usable/functional Xbox 360 emulator around yet? I didn't think there was, but I might be wrong.... Anyway, it would be a stupidly powerful PC if it did exist which a tablet of any kind just isn't.

As for the Surface tablets, what kind of graphics card are they going to be rocking? I was under the impression it was a sort of gimped integrated affair and therefore not that amazing for PC gaming (but probably suitable for games designed for it originally, and older system emulators though!)

Omg someone replied ! Well I'm not fussed about a 360 emulator but it did make me think because its tech which was cutting edge in 2004 so I was just wondering. Thanks for your input :P
