    Kicking
trying to explain kicking, but it seems so habitual that its just like breathing. you just do it.

could anyone help w/ explaining how one should kick a ball?

    thus far I have:

stepping towards the ball, set one foot in-line to ball (not too far or too close).
w/ opposite leg, swing forward and through the ball.
as leg is moving forward, turn foot outward exposing inside of foot to ball.
(now at this point, you don't want to twist or rotate the waist, hip, torso...correct?)

    Re: Kicking
When you shoot you want your body "over" the ball (just don't lean back). You want to hit the ball with the laces of your boot and you want your non-shooting boot to be paralell to the ball. I think after that any bodily movement is individual specific - I mean Beckham hits the ball in a unique way to any other footballer. You want to keep your leg straight and follow through.
When you want to pass do everything I mentioned but just hit the ball with the inside of your boot.
