Re: IPL Hair RemovalI have no idea, I was just thinking if it is actually worth it, and whether hair is permanently removed (or closely). Thing is, I got a good deal 6 sessions for 1 larger part and a small part, or 2 medium parts (half legs/arms, etc) or 3 small parts (upper lip, chin, etc) for £129.00 in Muswell Hill, London at a very known beauty place.(Original post by toothbird)
My friend had sessions on her bikini area and said it was quite painful. I was wondering how successful it is?

I have done some research into IPL and Laser. Basically here in UK they aren't advertising it as 'permanent hair removal' instead it's 'permanent hair reduction'.
In later years, when your hormone balance changes like when you're pregnant some hairs could come back so you might need 'touch-up' sessions.
From what I've read most people are very happy with the results, the fairer your skin and the darker the hair the more chance you have for treatment to respond well.
You said you're pale for an Indian, but you should still bare in mind your skin is darker therefore you might require more sessions- depending how your treatment responds. The trained staff will check your progress and will inform you how it's going. Very dark hair should respond well to treatment, and most people see results after first 2 sessions, seeing bold patches where the laser hits.
Check out some videos on youtube for more reviews and peoples experiences. That's what I did and now I'm seriously tempted to get my own treatment.
Good luck with it and hope it works for you -
