This isn't really news to me. The thing about alcohol is it's okay to take in moderation, but you're going to get a portion of the population or drink way too much and harm themselves by doing so. Drugs like Ecstasy are more dangerous than alcohol if taken consistently over a long period of time but are usually only taken every so often by users, or just once in a lifetime. Heroin and Crystal meth are addictive and so taken in large quantities which is of course going to be very harmful. Most things can be dangerous if taken in large quantities...

Ritalin is up there which is taken by kids with ADHD as young as two years old... kinda scary when it's classified as a dangerous drug...

I swear this study is about 6 years old - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/6474053.stm

Regardless, if alcohol were invented tomorrow it'd be a class A drug and illegal.

Brass Eye is hilarious. The paedogedden special made me laugh so much I had stomach pains.

Lol. You do realize something can be dangerous in non-medial context yet perfectly safe in a medical context? Kids with ADHD fall under medical context. If they're reacting negatively to the medication then the doctor would change it up.

Anyway, I doubt people don't know the dangers of alcohol, they do. They just don't care and believe the risks are outweighed by the benefits. It's basically like being a dare devil. That thrill/feeling you get after success is enough for you to want to do it even though there's a high chance of accident/death occurring. I don't see the problem. If you want to live a drug-free lifestyle, good for you. But, others have different interest and would rather live in the moment #yolo (why the **** does this term get hated on? BRB hating on that term yet praising all the intellectual dudes who've been spouting the same **** for the last 1000s of years, ****ing dickriders jumping on any anti-popular-culture bandwagon).
