    Cant install/uninstall SILVERLIGHT (mac)
    Hey Tech Wizards!

I really wanna watch Netflix on my macbook. And I used to be able to. Untill randomly it took me to the you need to install silverlight page.

Ok so I tried to install it but it didnt work cause It said I had a newer version already installed and therefore I had to uninstall and reinstall again.

I have removed every piece of silverlightness such as the plugins and the receipts, yet it still says I already have it installed. But I don't lol.

I have followed the tutorial on uninstalling very well and have removed everything but I still cant reinstall it.

    Can you help me???

    (btw Im on a macbook)

Click here for the full answer but I can go through it step by step if you're not confident using the terminal.

First, fire up the terminal. Then, type (or copy and paste) this command in exactly and hit enter when you're done.

    Code:
    pkgutil --pkgs=com.microsoft.office.silverlight.*
Just quote back and paste in the code you got when you hit enter.
