    Muscle growth and shakes
I'm planning on going back to the gym but I'm planning on drinking protein shakes to try and boost my muscle growth over the time I'm going to be at the gym.

    1. What protein shakes do you suggest for me to use?
    2. Do you think protein shakes and other nutrients are needed to get a good body?

    1. I suggest Whey Protein, you cant go wrong with it.
    2. You don't need to drink protein shakes or take other supplements, the best way is to eat healthy natural foods, like chicken and fish to get you're protein sources. It depends what type of nutrients you're talking about, I suggest again you eat solid foods to get you're nutrients and fibre like salads, vegetables ect, but I personally take multi vitamins just to make sure I'm getting enough. But overall, protein shakes and other nutrients supplements does help to get you're desired physique, especially if you're a student and living on a tight budget. I personally have a scoop of protein after a meal because It is hard getting 120-200g of protein a day by just eating solid foods, which will reduce the amount of meals you will need, which will save you time and money. My advice is try to eat healthy, natural and fresh foods to get you're protein, carbs, fats and nutrients.

    Thanks I'll look it up.
I already eat quite healthy with chicken, pasta, fish and salads. I'm going to uni this September so protein shakes would be a money saver if what you say is true. Thanks for the advice

If you have time to eat and don't need a fast absorption protein you can try casein for a long time release of proteins, perfect for just before going to bed or when you can't have a meal for the next 4-6 hours.
