How good is university of leeds for mechanical engineering?

How good is university of leeds for mechanical engineering?I just want to know whether its a good idea to apply for university of leeds for engineering and plus most of the universities do 3 years Bng but leeds does 4 years Bng would that effect the degree?

Re: How good is university of leeds for mechanical engineering?I don't know much about leeds, albeit their website states that their department of mechanical engineering is globally renown.
The 3 year course is a Bachelors, and the 4 year one is a masters, which I believe is a extra year of study that awards a higher level to the normal BEng.
