    Party membership
Would it be really unfair or out of order for me to have membership with more than one party?
I am currently a member of the Conservative party and wish to join UKIP too (for several reasons). I cant vote for both obviously so does it matter that much?

    Re: Party membership
Its up to I stay clear of party membership because I follow the Far right and people on the Left leaked the BNP membership a few years ago in the hope their members would be fired or attacked. Pretty Pathetic and no I dont support the BNP they are too liberal now.

Why is it important for you be a member of both parties? Can't you just leave one and join the one you agree mostly with?

Fair point, but I don't think it would be that big a deal considering they are both quite mainstream now. So who do you support now if you don't mind me asking?

I would like to get more of a feel for UKIP i guess before I make the full jump, and I also have some helpful ties within the conservative party which might help me in the near future.

Labour .... Jokes. I don't really support a party at the moment and I know that the far right won't rise to power in this country through elections it will be in another form ill let you guess what this is

It's a conflict of interest, really - neither party will fully believe you're behind them.

There's nothing illegal about it, but you should keep quiet about it when among party friends, or they might grass you up and have you expelled.

Obviously I'd encourage you to join UKIP but I don't think you should be a member of two parties, ditch the Tories.

You should only really be in one or the other.

If you feel you'd be more useful to the Conservative Party stay with them and become an intra-party eurosceptic.

You'd be immediately expelled from the Conservative Party if they got wind of it, and if you didn't declare it when joining - which would get your application rejected - you'd be committing fraud.

So yes, it's completely out of order.
