Worried her friends may turn her against me.
This girl and I like each other, however she is fresh out of a relationship so I'm leaving it for a little while. I know she likes me but the problem comes from her male friends, because, basically, she has at least 4-5 guys who fancy her, some of whom are good friends to her and who have liked her for a very long time. Me and these guys are alright friends but don't get along that well; the type you have a pint with in a group but hope that you don't get left alone with.

Now, if I were to date her in the near future, I'm a little worried that out of spite these guys will be the little devil whispering in her ear - I know for a fact that she goes to them for personal and relationship problems, so my fears aren't completely unfounded.

Should I grit my teeth and try my hardest to improve out relationship or should I just not care?

I think you shouldn't worry about her friends, its her your interested in so improve your relationship you shouldn't let those other guys stop you from being happy! And dont get so paranoid about them its you she's interested in not them!
