Ye Olde Hat Society - Official Society
Welcome to Ye Olde Hat Society!

I found no such similar group, so took the liberty of creating one myself. I, like many other persons out there, have a somewhat worryingly (and tragic, perhaps!) fascination with hats; hats of all kinds, shapes and sizes. My favourites being the topper, bowler, boater and fez.

It's always a riot walking down the street with a brown bowler on, only to happen upon a fellow enthusiast. I think a very subtle sign of acknowledgement is made, almost as covert and unnoticeable as a masonic signal. :ahee:

I buy most of my hats from Village Hats, though do occasionally make the odd purchase from eBay or some other website. Village Hats make quality, affordable hats though, and so it's always my first port of call. I've not been disappointed yet.

    Jolly good. :smug:

Nice pork pie by the way. Quite cheap, too. Mine was, err... molested on a night out some months ago, and it hasn't been the same ever since. It may have to be replaced some time soon.

    Welcome aboard!

DOUBLE SCORE. A) found a fellow hat enthusiast. B) their rep gave me three gems

Surprised at lack of interest. Then again, I rarely visit/spam the fashion section of TSR. Found this soc by chance

Ahh, kismet! Hopefully, it'll grow even more.

Aye, I forgot to do that. I wondered why it didn't show up in the group page. I thought I imagined writing the entire post! :O

Bump! I've since acquired a very nice panama hat, again, from hatsandcaps (no advertisement plug):

Rather fetching number, it is. However, as luck has it, it was absolutely appalling today, and is likely going to be the same tomorrow. I hope we haven't had our fill of summer yet.

    I've updated the member list.

No news in the hat world as of late, though I've been eyeing a few things up!

This thread has been neglected for quite some time! I've updated the memberlist, and we now boast nine hat partisans. :ahee:

I recently purchased two newsboy flat caps, both in muted tones for the new year.

EDIT: I've noticed I have the power to make certain members deputies, which, as I imagine, would let them edit and/or update the thread in my absence. So, who exactly is a regular here?
