A slightly decent sub-normal show tonight. I am really liking Angus Deayton (George Windsor), although i can see a weak plot leaking through his character.
Realism problem: I noticed Miss Spark wrote the numbers in the chemical equations in superscript instead of subscript. I strongly doubt a qualified science teacher would make this mistake.
It's odd that not a single member of the cast or crew noticed the error.
Edit: what kind of school (or any commercial establishment) doesn't have a fire alarm control panel that indicates which smoke detector has been activated?

I was half expecting them to go back to the old "it's broken", like mysteriously happened with the CCTV cameras that time in Rochdale after they realised they weren't such a great plot device. Can't believe they went with the whole student-bribing-teacher plotline, absolute carbon copy of the Helen Hopewell storyline, with the silly names to boot.
