If you are in halls, I don't think you get a choice. Your contract covers Xmas and Easter holidays so you pay for it anyway, might as well leave your stuff there. There are a couple of intercollegiate halls which do make you move out over Xmas in which case your best bet is putting your stuff into storage in London somewhere.

I'm staying in Schafer House.

Contract includes Christmas then so as far as I'm aware you have to pay for it.

Do you know much about the EPSP degree? If so, how much weight do the core modules take up in comparison to the option modules (I would be studying German and History)

Not sure what you mean by weight, but the degree structure is available on the ESPS website. Are you applying for the German and History degree at UCL as well as ESPS?

Year One

2.0 units in language department (of which 0.5 unit minimum is literature)
1.0 unit Introduction to European History, Law, Philosophy and Politics
1.0 unit in humanities or social science

Year Two
1.5 units in language department
2.5 units in humanities or social science specialism

Year Three
Year abroad

Final Year
1.0 unit in language department
1.0 unit ESPS Dissertation
2.0 units in humanities or social science specialism

Anyone doing psychology from UCL? How is it like, any specific entry requirements?
(AAAB at AS, 4A* 5A's at GCSE TONS of medical work experience, heart lies with psychology) Im afraid an A*AA offer would be hard to accomplish

I do psych.

They may specify which A-level you need to get the A* in (they asked it for psych for me). If you did well at AS I'm sure you're more than capable of meeting the entry requirements.

Hi,
Anyone doing straight econ at UCL?
And how do you feel about this course so far?
What's the difference between straight econ and econ and statistics (e.g. course difficulty, staff)?
Thanks in advance.

Have you enrolled and stuff?

Back in the day they gave us a card thing with our email address and password etc?

Your login is your UCL ID (eg. Zcaph7 )

then:

zcaph [email protected]

NOTE: I just made up the above login/address and made it similar to my own, its not a real one as far as I know.

and you log in here: https://login.microsoftonline.com/

Hey guys I am applying for the "Economics with a Year Abroad Course".
I do Geniko Lykeio (the Greek Qualification equivalent to A levels) and I predict myself to get a 19.4-19.6/20
On top of that I do A levels and have chosen Maths, "Economics and Business" and Physics (just started) as well as Further Maths to AS Level.
My Maths UMS in all units except C4 is 94.5 (with 100 in C3) (so I think A* is well within reach)
In Economics and business I have already achieved an A with UMS of 87 but will resit to get an A* as I missed it by few points.
I have strong extra curricular activities including Debate competitions (finalist etc) MUN chairing position and experience, summer schools in Oxford (and economics award of excellence there) as well as Excellence Award by the Harvard Model Congress Europe.
Do you think I that with a good reference, and strong PS I stand a good chance of getting accepted?
I because I see that UCL can be very competitive and in many cases unpredictable...

I'm an American college student looking to study abroad in London next year. How is the English department? I don't quite understand why only about eight courses per year are listed on the department website. Surely that's not all of them... right? Also, will I have to take the Chaucer class as a visiting student?
