Girls: Would you do porn?

Just wondering what motivates women to do porn, is it possible to want to do it out of choice/enjoyment or is it mainly down to making money?

This question is aimed at girls, would you consider doing porn and what are your thoughts on the industry?

I personally wouldn't do it. I would find it weird having sex with someone I had just met and doing it in front of a camera knowing loads of people would see it.

As long as protection is used, both are the 16 or above (or whatever the legal age is depending on which country) and both parties are up for starring in porn, I have nothing against it.
I think that it's an industry with a big capacity to abuse people, but that some genuinely do choose to enter it. In the latter I have no problem with it. In fact, my main problem with porn is how awfully fake 99% of it (talking about straight porn here) is. How people manage to get off to really obviously faked enjoyment is beyond me :dontknow:

Personally I don't think I could ever do it. I'm a bit too self-conscious for that, I enjoy real sex without a camera just fine, and I would be mortified if someone I knew found a video with me in it

Personally I don't like it. But then I think I'd probably do a lot of things I don't like before 'signing on'. So if there were really no other options and it was safe (protection was used and things like that) I'd maybe look in to it. I would have had to completely exhausted all other options first though.

I would not act in porn.

I am ambivalent about working in other areas of the industry though.

? Isn't it pretty obvious that most women in porn aren't actually enjoying it. If you have enough time to flutter your eyelashes at the camera or can speak in a level voice, you're not doing it right. It's painfully obvious to me when they're speaking from script and forcing themselves to make noise

Edit: I'm not talking about amateur porn here, but... porn porn.

Why is it that being a pornstar is more acceptable than being a prostitute? They are both being paid to have sex at the end of the day. Also why is that pornstars are never slut-shamed but non-pornstars who get exposed in one amateur tape are? Fore example there was that girl who was pictured doing oral at a concert and that made the worldwide news when people like Sasha Grey do things like that every day in full HD quality AND try to sell it to as many people as possible and nobody bats an eyelid?
I'm not confident enough in my body to do that.

And I'm not flexible enough either...and I'm only a B-cup...

In my experience, these things tend to sort themselves out.

Bloody whores, of course not, some people have enough self respect not to stoop to that level! Nor get exploited in what is fake enjoyment.

How do people get abused? It's totally up to them if they want to do it and they get paid thousands. Obviously can't speak for porn shot in deepest darkest Africa but I'm pretty sure nobody in California is forced into it.

It is odd, really. I guess it's because people see porn as more "respectable" because it's a paid work contract, just like acting with sex. With prostitutes, people tend to think of pimps and druggies and having no choice. In the same way, being an escort is seen as more respectable than a prostitute, in fact really expensive/high-end prostitutes would probably be put under the term "escorts" these days, wouldn't they.
God no!

 so in bed with a girl, you would be completely fine with her faking enjoyment? Faking orgasms?

It's not so much about caring per se, but the fact that most people (if not all) would find a woman actually enjoying sex and actually coming, more enjoyable, more real, more akin to the actual sex they would have instead of porn if they could.

That's... pretty naive. Do you really think that any area of the sex industry has never exploited people? :s-smilie:

Not all porn stars are going to get paid thousands, because they aren't all Sasha Grey. In the same way, not all of them will have chosen to be in porn, but will have been forced into it by circumstances or desperation. If you were desperate, which would you choose out of porn or prostitution? Considering how people look down on prostitutes more and it can be that much more dangerous outside of a controlled environment...
