Father 6 years
Son 4 years
Mother 4 months...........

*cough cough*

Exactly what I was thinking. Not sure how she is less responsible in any way.

No doubt if the victim fought his way out he'd have risked a prison sentence.

Yeah we live in a ****ed up world where you'll do more time for stealing or growing weed than you would for keeping a slave in the worst conditions.

Absolutely ridiculous sentencing. Seeing as the father (whose sentencing alone is a joke) ran a business, it's likely he would've been out at times, so who was keeping the man falsely imprisoned then? Oh well, one can only hope these scum get a more fitting punishment in jail.

Just read a story today about a man posing in KKK uniforms getting sentenced to a year in prison today for racial hatred offences.

http://www.expressandstar.com/news/crime/2014/01/08/racist-wolverhampton-man-jailed-over-ku-klux-klan-video/

So this man gets a year for posting a stupid video dressed in a KKK uniform, this woman gets 4 months for participating in holding someone as a slave for 6 weeks whilst seemingly also abusing them (hence the battery charge).
Alright then.
