York v. Bristol (Politics) - which is better academically?

Thanks in advance for any input, struggling to make the decision having offers from both.

Traditionally, York is where people with socialist tendencies would go and , for that reason, I'll say that Bristol is where Conservatives would go.

Which is probably why now is ripe for change and everybody should do it the other way around. York campus looks a lot better than it used to, better cross section of people (York used to be well overrated for the arts and much more of a science place), so it's actually potentially a decent choice between the 2.

Might help the OP if you explained why...
Neither really. Which uni's modules do you prefer?

Have you looked at the modules, campuses, facilities e.c.t? The difference between York and Bristol is negligible really and won't make you happy for 3 years.
They are both relatively equal academically. You are better off to look at which course structure suits you best, where the more interesting modules are, which place you like etc.
