I swear I found a list on what to bring to Snow Island but I've completely lost it - does anyone else have it? It was somewhere on TSR somewhere.

It definitely wasn't a document, it was online and I found it as a link someone posted on this site (not this thread though).
what i posted was what you need to take to snow island if you are talking about this thread

Documents
* Passport Photos (at least four, and keep some on you). Also scan some on to your computer to get quick reproductions for less (especially for ID that doesn't really matter) - You won't need to take one for your Uni ID card (they take a digi photo and print it onto the card) but probably will for any others.
* Passport - For ID purposes
* Driving License - Don't worry if you don't drive, its handy ID
* National Insurance Number - For all those forms you will fill in
* NHS Medical Card - Needed for medical registration in Freshers week
* Insurance Documents - A must!
* TV License - Obviously only if you have a tv
* Support Notification - Needed for registration in Freshers
* Any Information from your LEA, the SLC (Student Loans Company) or Student Finance Direct - Needed for registration in Freshers
* Your Unconditional Offer from the University - Again, needed for registration
* Any Documents regarding your Accommodation - Keep these handy in case the halls try telling you you don't live there
* Cheque Book - Anyone use these in the 21st century?
* Paying-In Book - For the odd occasions you will be paying into the bank
* Bank or Building Society Details - May be needed for registration

Academic
* Reading List - Not all courses get these, so don't worry if you don't have one
* Academic Diary / Wall Planner / Calendar - Pick one up from the Freshers Fair thing and write your deadlines on it
* Relevant Old Text Books and Notes - Probably won't use them, but worth taking anyway
* Dictionary - Use dictionary.com instead
* Thesaurus - Only needed if you are doing an English or other writing course
