Ask the senior tutor if you can suspend your studies and start again next September, I know from experience that it's reeaaally hard to catch up once you've fallen behind.

How behind were you if you don't mind me asking?I missed every lecture/seminar/you name it in my second term of first year, didn't do any of the work and I was playing catchup for a whole year after that. It messed up both my first and second year, to be honest.

Nope, left after second year, currently reapplying to different courses for 2015 entry, spending the year working to help fund it
