If you mean clearing then unfortunately, no. Sorry :frown:

They clearly said Adjustment, so they obviously did not mean Clearing.

So have you received anything from the other universities you applied to?

I've received offers from Manchester and City University and a rejection from Cambridge which makes me really anxious about UCL and LSE. I'm still waiting for LSE to send me something (I'm in week 3) what about you?

Congrats on your offers! I am in my 5/8 week with LSE and haven't heard anything from Warwick yet. The college I applied to at Cambridge is taking forever with the intrview invitations/rejections. At UCL I also applied to Math with Econ but still nothing. The.wait.is.killing.me

I know, it sucks to wait this long! Anyway are you a UK or international student?

Yes, but for limited courses that have not been filled in.

Thanks a bunch mate, unfortunately though it doesn't reveal much at all. If statistics, economic and finance included as one then that would be great.

I applied to math with econ at UCL too! I'm also international. When did you send your application? I still haven't heard anything yet. Did you apply to math and econ at LSE as well?

No problem. It doesn't show much because apparently it only included the courses that had spaces when the adjustment period was going on. Since it only lasts a few weeks, all the courses listed have been taken off the website as not accepting new students.

From what I gather, there is no strict policy as to which courses will have places for adjustment in any particular year - it all depends on that year's cohort of applicants and whether all places for a sepcific course have been filled up. I guess you will just have to check to see what is available the coming August.

I applied on 12 Oct. How about you? And no, I only applied to Math with Econ at UCL, but for the MSci (4 years), everywhere else just for straight econ (again including UCL). Where else have you applied?

I applied on 14 October for the BSci Math with Econ at UCL. I also applied to LSE, Durham, Edinburgh, and Cambridge (straight econ). I got an unconditional offer from Edinburgh and was rejected from Cambridge. Where else did you apply?

Congrats on Edinburgh! Do they have a policy of giving out unconditionals, or have you already got the qualifications!

Congrats on your offer! Edinburgh is awesome! So I applied to LSE, Warwick, 2 UCLs and Cambridge, but I don't know anything about the interview/rejection yet because the college I applied to is taking forever, though I think I was rejected cause they said they will send emails to intenationals and I didn't get anything, while home students received letters a few days ago.

For chemistry with mathematics (joint honours) do we have to go for an interview at all?

Thanks!
I'm more interested in UCL and Oxford TBH, coz I don't really see myself fitting into LSE too well.
A rejection from UCL would be hard :/

My sister went to LSE and wishes she went to UCL! Apparently it was really nerdy and boring at LSE, I've heard a lot of LSE graduates say they would've preferred UCL actually

Have any other medicine applicants here received a request for further information from UCL for AS module grades and references for their work experience?

I read in their FAQs that only a sample of applicants are requested.
UCL haven't sent out any offers for PPE have they yet? Do you think we all have to wait until Jan to hear back?
I've just applied for the MSc in Specialised Translation at UCL and they require IELTS overall 6.5. I have 6.5 but I failed by 0.5 in listening. However, I graduated with 110/110 cum laude from the University here in Italy, so I was excellent during my previous studies. Do you think UCL will be very strict and won't offer me a place because of that 0.5 in one section of IELTS? :-(
Anyone else got the open day email from UCL for econ?
