TSR Transformation Contest is BACK.

-It's the new year and resolutions will have been made
-Together we can lose weight, tone up gain muscle or just stay active and have a happy and healthy 2015
-If you are feeling competitive or want to track your progress it's time to step up
-After 12 weeks of toil the transformations will be judged
-A male and female champion will be crowned




“Why should I enter TSR Transformation Contest?
- It's the New Year - it's a new you!
- A healthy goal to strive towards during the next few months.
- Perhaps you are lacking motivation and need extra encouragement.
- Extensive support and advice from the members of TSR’s fitness forum.
- Achieve your desired physique.
- Blog your progress and meet friends along the way.
- Broaden your own knowledge of health and fitness.
- The competition closes just in time for Easter - put in the hard work now, and reward yourself with a few eggs.




“Great, I’m convinced. How do I enter?”
- Take three photos of yourself, either in underwear or swimwear. A photo from the front, side, and back. Post more if you like, the more the merrier!
- At least one of the photos must contain the date in some form. This could be by holding a newspaper or your laptop with a website which shows the date.
- Try and take the photos in good lighting, and have similar lighting for the end pictures.
- Post your start pictures in this thread between these dates:
[indent]o 1st Jan - 12th Jan[/indent]
- Post your end pictures in this thread between these dates:
[indent]o 29th March - 5th April[/indent]
- With a whole week for you to post your pictures, there are no excuses that you don’t have time!

Note: If you would like to post an anonymous, please send me a PM. Only use this avenue if you really need too, as its more fun and beneficial to join in and get involved under your username.
By posting photographs in this thread, you acknowledge a) that the photographs are viewable by any individual wishing to access The Student Room and b) that you have the required permission for posting the photos on the internet. If you are under 18, this includes parental consent. Any photographs which are thought to be inappropriate will be removed.



“What are the prizes??”

There are prizes for the top three men and top three women.

:king3: - £10 voucher to sport shop of your choice or £10 voucher for GoNutrition

These are some serious prizes that should make your hard work feel even more worthwhile. Remember that even if you don't win you'll have the prize of a healthier you! :biggrin:


“Are there any other things I need to know before I start?”
- Judging will be: Fitness Mods will shortlist potential winners, and our sponsor/s will then pick the top transformations.
- Entrants must not be taking steroids and there should be no discussion on this topic. Moderators will remove all posts discussing steroids.
- Be sure to start your blog!

Edit: Didn't even notice but I've put on a lot of fat this past winter, curse me and my dirty bulk!!!

I would join but I am still in the middle of my Christmas Reverse Transformation :tongue:





I look such a mess compared to just a few months ago. Disgraceful. Definitely time I got my arse into gear and lose all this again.

Alright so I've already been cutting weight down since the 17th of November.
Since then I've lost 5kg
Current weight: 66kg



Aiming to lose another 2-3 Kg of fat then build up to 69-70kg. :smile: Good luck everyone!

Final Post!

Wow its been epic haha, managed to cut down to 64kg about 6 weeks ago:


After that my aims of building up muscle changed and i started working on technique (ninjutsu) and flexibility...so here are my final pictures!
Weight: 66kg

Is anyone allowed to enter? (Regardless of how long they've been training/reason for training)

- And the blog? If I'm going to blog I may as well start instagram-progress pics as I've been so lazy..

I've taken time off - so I went down from 105kg to 8?. So I am going to go to the 94kg class, but lean.

If the prize is good enough I'll definitely join; but I'll be going for a landslide victory haha.

My goals:

* Be able to cycle long distance (at least 20 miles) and play a full game of netball with ease.
* Reduce fat around the waist.
* Build muscle overall.

Most of this will take some time to achieve but hopefully this will be the start.

My measurements (as of 02/01/2015):

Weight: 65 kg
Chest: 87.5 cm / 34 1/2"
Waist: 78.5 cm / 31"
Hips: 93 cm / 36.5"

Really want to do this! Don't know about the posting photos part though.. :K:
Goals

1. Increase overall strength and endurance
2. Increase muscle mass especially in legs as they seem really thin in comparison to the rest of me
3. Improve posture as I have a lot of postural issues

How I aim to achieve this

1. Continue to attend weekly pole fitness and aerial hoop classes
2. Body weight workouts
3. Finish C25K (Currently on Week 6)
