Did you not like it?

Hey, nutford house is too far for me for my liking, the food isn't great and also the showers never work, we got the whole floor sharing 2. It's ridiculous!

Thank you for letting me know! I think I'll be sharing a house.

So for people who have stayed/are staying in intercollegates.. would you say this is a better option than staying in Uni specific accomodation? This may be a weird question but do you kinda feel a bit out of things by not being in accomodation with students from the same uni as you? Do you tend to socialise differently as a result? Or do you tend to end up with quite a few people from the same uni as you anyway? And how about the 50% internationals in intercollegate halls..how do people find this? Is there a good degree of cross cultural mixing, or do people generally tend to stay in groups?
Quite a few questions i know! Im thinking about putting intercollegate halls down as my first option for accomodation however, so just trying to find out some more details as to whether this is a good idea! Thanks in advance

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I'm really in need of some answers! I got assigned to a UNI residence room in kings college at moonraker point. It costs like 8000 pounds for 42 weeks. It's really expensive for me so I've decided to look into intercollegiate halls. Do you thinking should go to UNI residences or intercollegiate halls? Which ones are better in terms of room sizes, strictness, food, etc. I'm looking in to college hall and garden halls, which is better.

Also, people keep telling me that I will not have a traditional UNI experience if I live in a concrete jungle like London so I should be living in a place with gardens and stuff thus my Garden halls preference :P anyway I guess that's not important... Just help with the info ... Should I or should I not go to intercollegiate ?? Ohhh and I'm not very social I'm extremely shy so I would need to be in a social area where I can easily make friends.
Hello,

Two quick questions.

A. I got into LSE and have been assigned the Lillian Penson Hall for accommodation. Any reviews on the quality of services provided there and basically, a general overview of the place would be really nice.

I have been hearing mixed reviews about it. Some people say its nice and quiet out there, but I have also read that there is a "rat problem" there. Not looking forward to that. Also they don't have a kitchen which absolutely sucks, since I won't be able to cook.

2. Should I apply for private accommodation instead? If yes, which are the best private accommodation services or hostels near LSE? Ones that are affordable, please.

Thanks.
