Double denim is ALWAYS the right option :fuhrer:

Why?

In my opinion denim shirts/coats especially look quite cheap and unattractive.
Light chambray shirt with plastic buttons and otherwise resembling a normal shirt, with dark slim jeans - yay.

Light coloured Levi's jacket with identical 501s - nay.

The key is contrasting the colours and making yourself not look like a cowboy.

Nine, nine, nine. (imagine me as Hitler slamming fist down).

Men should only wear denim jeans. Women should not wear denim at all, wear skirts, dresses and leggings.

Nobody will take my jeans away from me. Nobody! :fuhrer:
If you do go for double denim, make sure it's two very different coloured denims (1 dark, 1 light) otherwise go for black with the denim!

Give it some time for the neo-60s to come and go, maybe by 2025 we'll get back to double denim with the neo-90s

Nah you're wrong, classic piece of fashion wear, it's the same as anything, if you scrimp on it don't expect to get quality. Denim jackets and shirts are iconic.

defo a yay only if the denim is two different shades. if its matching shades than nayyyyyyyyyyy
I think it can look good if its contrasting shades of denim- if it's 2 items the same colour it can look a bit strange.

If they are different shades, then I think it can work.
Double denim looks really cool if one knows how to carry it. i personally love the black denim jeans and blue denim jacket/top look.
