Hi, I know the system is changing this year, but can any current or former final year medics give me any idea of how much the nhs bursary impacted on how much student finance they got? Can't find anything apart from 'you'll get a "reduced" maintenance loan' which is really unhelpful!

Thanks !!
I used to get £4,000 and that went down to ~£2,250
However, the NHS bursary essentially makes up for what you lose out on, and is non-repayable, so it's definitely a better deal in my opinion. Plus, the NHS pay for the fees in the final year, so the outlay is pretty low
