Current Medical Issues other than New Contract and Ageing Population?

Hi!

Got an interview coming up soon and was just wondering if anyone could say any current issues or areas of interest in the world of medicine/uk medicine that would be worth looking into other than the new junior doctor contract and the problem of an ageing population in the UK.

Cheers!

In term of medicopoltics: new junior doctor contract, shape of training review, changing point of GMC registration, national licensing exam ('UK medical licensing exam', UKMLA).

Else: ageing population, antibiotic resistance issues.
