Transfer to Cambridge after foundation year?

Hello, I am an overseas students and I am near to finishing my foundation year at University of Kent this year(2016). I have made all five choices for a transfer then I realised that University of Cambridge does offer places to some acceptable cases. I know I will sound rather silly, insensible and unrealistic but I really want to get into Cambridge for my future dream job as well as for its well-respected reputation. I have not achieved my best in A Levels but I can say I got B for A Level mathematics and A for both Further maths and maths for GCSEs as some of my greatest strength.

I am currently working towards getting the highest grade possible a.k.a 70% or over (Distinction).

I may already have a clear answer to this question but 'Would it be possible that I get considered?'. If so, what kind of grad(percentage) would they expect to be competitive?

You have not specified what degree (Cambridge don't do Art) but in general Cambridge do not allow transfers from other universities. You would have to apply in October 2016 to start as an undergrad in 2017 and the minimum offer for any degree is A*AA at A level.

We don't accept transfers into the second year of our degree programme, though you could certainly apply to start in the first year, using your foundation year as evidence of appropriate academic preparation.

I am keen to apply for Mathematics undergraduate program to start from Year 1 to finish all the way to final year. I have done GCSEs, A Levels and IELTS all in the UK.

This is wrong, applying for entry into the first year wouldn't be a transfer. I suggest the OP checks with the college they intend to apply to, but Lucy Cavendish's Admission tutor recently posted this.

I simply cannot imagine that anybody who got a B in maths would ever be able to cope with the Maths degree at Cambridge.They generally have user names that say they love Maths. You have to sit a STEP exam which is challenging for those who get A*A* in Maths & FM at A2

Yeah... I have to admit that you are so right. I understand that my words would seem like a nonsense but I am not one of those who only go for oxbridge because of their name I have a reason for being so desperate to get ibto Cambridge. I totally appreciate that there are a lot of applicants who certainy deserve much more attention and thoughts than I do. However, I am trying hard to achieve my very best in my current foundation year to move to a better uni for my dream job. Separately, regarding my username. What is so wrong with saying what I love on my username? It is totally out of the subject. The profession I want to specialise in and what I love is something totally separate. Also, I am well aware of that type of test since I gave it a go myself. Well, if they tell me to take STEP, that would be a 'step' forward, wouldnt it? Cambridge isnt stupid enough to make those who are not capable take the test like you think.

Approximately half of those who apply get an offer conditional on STEP and about half of those meet their STEP offer. Cambridge is not stupid, they use the test to discriminate between candidates who typically already have achieved maths averages around 95-100%.
Candidates do not exclusively apply to Cambridge for the name. Some of us applied for the specific course, some for the quality of the teaching, some for the job prospects, some for the quality of the university life. Wanting to be at Cambridge, for job prospects or whatever reason, is not particularly important to admissions tutors. There are only interested in your love of the subject and academic ability.
The comment about username was a weak joke and explained why I didn't immediately work out you were a maths applicant.
