Not really a turn off.

Clearly when people reach the 'settling down' stage you need to look for compatible people.

Bear in mind there are also more and more women who don't want children.

Why take it personal? I understand the negatives but personally, if I found out I'd never have children it'd be one of the worst things that would happen to me in my life. I'd probably just not bother getting married or doing anything.

Adopting is good if you want never said it wasn't, its not for everyone I know. It's better you have a child that you want than being pressured into it. Don't take it personally.

Its not a turn off provided he can be a good father. Its just that I wouldn't want to have children so quick into the relationship. My ideal time for having children would about 5 years into the relationship but only if we get on well together and are responsible enough for bringing up kids. I'm personally not a big fan of kids, so if my man likes kids, that'd actually be relief a and attractive. And if not, I wouldn't be bothered about it either.

That'd be gracious of you, knowing what I do of your sentiments on the subject. Assume you'd strongly prefer to be the biological mother of your children, at least (in spite of the disruption of pregnancy/trauma of childbirth) :holmes:
