How much of a turnoff are men who don't want to have kids?

Not really a turn off.

Clearly when people reach the 'settling down' stage you need to look for compatible people.

Bear in mind there are also more and more women who don't want children.

you're gay?

Someone like what? Some women just don't want 9 months of hell whether it's natural or not. Id maybe like to raise children but there's no way I could handle pregnancy, if it was the man who got pregnant and he wanted them then I'd be all for it but think I'l either have to not have them or adopt.

Why take it personal? I understand the negatives but personally, if I found out I'd never have children it'd be one of the worst things that would happen to me in my life. I'd probably just not bother getting married or doing anything.

Adopting is good if you want never said it wasn't, its not for everyone I know. It's better you have a child that you want than being pressured into it. Don't take it personally.

No. Just saying 'turn off' wasn't the right choice of words.

I'm worried you are becoming slightly obsessed with me.

Would it matter if I was? :colonhash:
What if the guy couldn't have children? like his balls fell off or something
It would be deal breaker for me, as i definitely want children. Preferably my own, but adoptive ones would be okay too.
I wouldn't want to date a girl who wanted kids in the next 5 years of her life - that is creepy. it's like listening to somebody saying they're going to commit suicide soon.
Its not a turn off provided he can be a good father. Its just that I wouldn't want to have children so quick into the relationship. My ideal time for having children would about 5 years into the relationship but only if we get on well together and are responsible enough for bringing up kids. I'm personally not a big fan of kids, so if my man likes kids, that'd actually be relief a and attractive. And if not, I wouldn't be bothered about it either.

How about a man who didn't want to bring more children into the world on moral grounds, was impotent, but was happy to adopt? :beard:

Then I too, would be happy to adopt or consider the option of a sperm donor...

That'd be gracious of you, knowing what I do of your sentiments on the subject. Assume you'd strongly prefer to be the biological mother of your children, at least (in spite of the disruption of pregnancy/trauma of childbirth) :holmes:

Most definitely. I know childbirth/pregnancy is a delicate process but it's unique and I want to experience it
