I used to just sit my exams and then forget about them until results day

How on Earth do you do that?

The heart thumping the apologetic speeches about hannah's sweets

God damn that 'Hannah's sweets' question.

Actually I'm glad for it because it made the boundaries quite low.

With a 'what's done is done' kind of mentality I guess. And I've always been of the opinion that exams aren't worth stressing over

People who say "You'll do great" are the worst. DONT THEY KNOW THE POWER OF THE JINX?! :unimpressed:

worst people of them all.
Stage 1 (after exams)
"Those exams weren't too bad, give yourself a pat on the back"

Stage 2 (one week after)
"You dumb sh*t, why did you put 3x3=6"

Stage 3 (July)
"Don't cry, you haven't got the results yet"

Stage 4 (beginning of August)
"Well I guess it's results day since it's now August, sh*t"

Stage 5 (day before)
"I worked out 9 grade boundaries are in my favour, the remaining 15 are not"

Stage 6 (night before)
"I'll just accept defeat, we've still got A-levels to go"

Stage 7 (post results)
"I remembered to apply for that hair and beauty course right?"

Stage 1 (exams just finished)
OMG I WANT MY RESULTS NOW

Stage 2 (at home)
Better get on TSR to check Arsey's model answers

Stage 3 (throughout the next week)
**** I DIDN'T WRITE THAT :cry2:

Stage 4 (following weeks)
Annoy the crap out of everyone online "Would I get a mark for this? No? But even if I showed this? Are you sure? What about this?"

Stage 5 (mid summer)
Mostly forgotten about exams

Stage 6 (mid-end summer)
Friends (tbh don't deserve to be called friends if they do this :colonhash:) keep reminding you "OMG 21 days 8 hours 5 seconds 12 milliseconds until results day! Are you nervous?!"

Stage 7 (final approach to results day)
Either
-Begin to accept the fact that you can still get a job even with your probably atrocious grades
OR
-eat buckets of ice cream to drown your sorrows

Stage 8 (results day)

An exam is just some paper with questions on it, and life will go on regardless of the result.

And when fear of failure goes out of the window, so does pressure :yep:
