Dubai is just flashy and no substance.
The capital should be somewhere with historical and cultural significance eg: Beirut or Damascus(Before the Butcher's war:frown: )

Oh man,you know I was definitely thinking Damascus but obviously impossible right now,so Beirut would probably be the next best thing?

Yeah. Hope Damascus and Syria get rebuilt and the people rebuild their lives after this madness.
Beirut is actually great and on my list of cities to visit.
Hope no wars breakout there.

Is criticism of the state of Israel considered antisemitic?
I've seen this happen quite a few times on this forum, where someone will talk about crimes committed by the state of Israel and Palestinian territory being stolen and someone will jump in to accuse them of being antisemitic. I'm just curious

it can (and often does) become so

just as some muslims say critique of islam becomes anti-muslim or 'islamaphobic'

Do you expect countries like Jordan and Lebanon to like Israel given what Israel did to them?

How's life under the current Iranian ruler?

Don't worry, the Arab world shall soon have a new Nasser that'll steer us into the direction of the unity of our peoples

Beirut is lovely. We have family there and my family have just gotten back from visiting them,I'm extra jealous. I hope to go myself this summer, inshallah.

I have criticised Israel many times, principally for the colonisation in the West Bank, and never been accused of antisemitism.

Hmm I admit we didn't do so well in Jordan and Syria and Egypt but wasn't Lebanon the one who won the war with Israel back in 2006?
