Hi guys, So I'm pretty new to TSR and I thought it would be helpful for me and possibly some of you to keep track of my GCSE revision and work for the actual exams next May/June.
I'm studying 12 subjects which are:
English Language ~ WJEC English Literature ~ WJEC Maths ~ AQA Chemistry ~ AQA Physics ~ AQA Biology ~ AQA I.C.T. ~ IGCSE (Cambridge) R.E. ~ OCR History ~ OCR Geography ~ AQA French ~ AQA Spanish ~ AQA
I'm predicted A's for everything but I've challenged myself to get as many A*s and possible 😊
I basically just want this thread to be somewhere to share revision tips/techniques, study timetables and just general GCSE stuff
Let me know if you have any questions about anything

good one I really hope you get an A* good luck I want as many A*s too
I'm aiming for 9-11A*s, we should definitely all help each other. I'm doing the same exam board as you in French, English Language and English Literature.

Yeah, definitely. Which 20th century novel and Shakespeare play are you doing for English Lit?
Hey! I think this is great as I want many A*s aswell I've already got an A*-RE A-Biology(one mark of an A*) A*-Chemistry I would be happy to help and give tips vice versa 😊
Are you doing any BTECs? Or is anyone taking any BTECs this year? Because my school forced us to do 3 BTECs :sports, business and EDCL. This means that I will only be taking 8 solid GCSEs. English language and lit, maths, core science, add science, French, geography, and Health and social care

Well done on your marks so far 👏 Are you doing any of the same exam boards as me?

My school is fairly similar but we're doing an engineering BTEC instead, since that's what the school specialises in. Unfortunately, it means that some people will only be taking 6 GCSEs (Maths, English Lang, English Lit, Core Science, 2 options). Luckily, I'm able to take 9 because I asked very nicely (Maths, English Lang, English Lit, Separate Sciences and 3 options) and predicted A* in every single one but I doubt that it going to happen. Just going to have to work extra hard and hope for the best
