Presumably the ' means not B? In which case you're looking for the intersection of A and B. This is the area that is in A and not in B, which is which region?

Assuming the ' did indeed mean not, then yes, that's right. It's often more convenient to think of the intersection as an "and" and the union as an "or".
Can help you out here with some good Venn diagram templates. They are good to get started and accrodign to the set theory you can design them matching to your question to come up with answers. Try them and give me a feedback.
