Not having a degree will limit the career I can have in the future, and I want to keep my doors open. But I've been considering it and have applied for a summer accountancy work experience which leads onto a trainee role. I haven't decided if I will take the apprenticeship if I get it.

plus I feel like i will be wasting my talents if i don't go to university and will never get a job that lives up to my potential.

I get what you mean, I don't know what I'll do if I don't go university lol, you could research courses that are all round good. Apparently Law is a good degree to have for loads of different work sectors

I have no effort or motivation to revise, it's so bad but can't seem to get into a routine of it!! Hope you enjoy education studies then b, what university you going to?

my brother is in the same year as you and i make him revise everyday, important to get into a routine - otherwise you will not get your desired grade and it will hinder your uni application - being kind of mean - but thats the truth :tongue:
lol i just attend local in west yorkshire.

Depends on what uni :colondollar:

If it's Cambridge I'd be :dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin: scared
If it's Bath/St Andrews there would be some trepidation but wouldn't be as nervous as going to Cambridge

I love the idea of being able to get into Oxbridge but I couldn't go there, the expectations, pressure and - at times - snobbiness there puts me off.

I'm in year 13 and I'm so excited but I keep forgetting the fact that I need to get the grades first 😂

How can I be excited for anything in life when I'm doing Maths, Physics and Biology but I need A*AA?

Tbh why even live? I wish I was a girl so i could just whore myself out instead of revising constantly. I bet I'd be a great pornstar

Practice, practice, practice! I did almost every question in each textbook (a bit overboard and maybe doing half of that amount would have been fine) but yeah, Maths is all about practice and developing your understanding. If you get a hard question, don't jump to the answer straight away - think about the topic, think about what you know in that topic, think about what information is given and what you could possibly do. Do loads of past papers under exam conditions and you should be fine! :h: I did all of that and got an A*. :colondollar:

I'm in year 13 and I'm buzzing for uni. Most of my friends are in uni (I retook year 12 last year so I'm a year behind) and I'm looking forward to join them at uni.

Good luck, what are you hoping to study and where?
I convinced myself that I won't get my uni offers so all the excitement is gone. :smile:

Thanks!! What exam board were you on? I am predicted a C but I'm aiming for a B/an unlikely A, do you think that's possible if I revise lots?

Edexcel :tongue: yes, I think it's possible to pull it back between now and exam time. A C is a good indicator, it shows that you're not completely struggling and you've got the potential, but you just need to figure out where you're losing marks, work on it and do loads of practice. What exam board are you with/what modules are you doing?
