Three. Core Maths 1 and 2 are compulsory. And then either Decision 1, Statistics 1 or Mechanics 1 depending on what you choose to learn or your sixth form choose to teach.

3 exams for AS Maths:

1) Core Mathematics 1
2) Core Mathematics 2
3) Mechanics 1 OR Statistics 1 OR Decision 1

3 exams. C1, C2 and S1/M1/D1

I got an A in AS Maths.

AS Subjects: Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology

A2 Subjects: Maths, Chemistry and Psychology.

Just adding on to what everyone else has said, if you get to choose your option I recommend doing Statistics 1...it's nice and easy for your first year of A-Level maths
