Hi guys!!

What is the Warm Bath Theory? Am I right in saying that its one of Parsons' views?

It is part of SOAP (Stabilisation of the Adult Personality).
Parson's means that adults need emotional security and a source of release from the stresses and strains of wider society. In the family adults can rely upon partners for emotional support and relax and relieve stress be indulging in childish behaviour with their children.
