Can someone do this GCSE maths question?

maths question.pngPlease can someone good at maths do this question? I keep getting 22,476 for the final answer.

On the mark scheme it says (pi)(4^2)(90) is 4527, but I get it as 4523? I'm not sure if the Pi on my calc or something is wrong, but I can't get this? thank you

Hmm very strange. I also got 22,476 as the answer and (pi)(4^2)(90) as 4523. Is this AQA? What exam season is this past paper from?

No my calculator says the same :/
Mark scheme is wrong

I also got 22,476. I think the mark scheme is wrong.
OMG MATHS <3

Anyways

Area of a Cuboid = Length x Width x Height
Area of the cuboid = 90cm x 15cm x 20cm = 27000cm3 (cubed)

Area of cylinder = (2 x π x r x h) + (2 x π x r x 2)
Area of cylinder = (2 x π x 4 x 90) + (2 x π x 4 x 2)
Area of cylinder = 2312.21cm2 (to 2 decimal places)

Area of remaining Concrete cuboid = Area of cuboid - Area of cylinder
therefore Area of remaining concrete cuboid = 24687.79

Please check it is right as I'm tired lol.

Yep I got the exact same thing. By the way, quick question, do they give you formaulas eg volume of a cylinder in the exam paper?
I just found the paper the question is from and had a look at the mark scheme. It doesn't say the volume of the cylinder is 4,527, it says the answer can be between 4,500 and 4,527 - obviously allowing people to use different numbers as pi. It says the final answer can be between 22,473 and 22,500 so yes, all our answers were correct

This isn't what I got, I did the cylinder inside as 16π x 90 and got 4523.89 and then took that from 27000
