Why do people still consume cow's milk?

I don't morally oppose drinking milk because I'm not a raging fanny

Lactose is a carbohydrate.

Care to tell me how many grams of carbohydrate is in 100g of milk.

I'll save you the effort. Approx 5 grams.

So...I'll ask my question again.

Now we got freellee the banana girl on tsr - rolls eyes-

The only reason I don't drink milk is because I'm terrified of drinking small amounts of pus or blood.

in 100ml there's 4.8g, therefore in a pint there is approx 27g of carbs

Show me which plant milk has the same quality protein as cow/goat milk. Healthier how so? we need fat in our diet. Nothing wrong with it.
Hemp & Soy Milk both have a decent amount of protein. Also you can get fat & protein from other sources rather than stealing milk from a calf & risk getting osteoporosis etc. There is really no biological need to drink milk anyway, you can be perfectly healthy while eating the right sort of food & having lots of water.

Ok I suppose if you drink tons of milk you can rack up a fair amount of carbs.

I need a lot of carbs and I personally wouldn't get it from milk.

Milk doesn't harm us does it?

For a start, we measure milk in ml because it is a liquid.

Milk is a good source of energy.

You know that all milk goes through testing before it reaches the shelves?

Yah, but nevertheless I don't see the need for it. I used to drink it a lot but only because I grew up drinking it thinking it was normal. I now just have soya milk as I like the taste of it much better anyway. So many products contain dairy right now when really. there is just no need for it, dairy is a very toxic industry for animals, humans & the environment in general.

We can measure milk however we want. I measure everything in grams as I use kitchen scales.

I personally find it's too low in calories and not satiating enough to use as a carb source. I try to avoid liquid calories. However, you add some whole milk to some mass gainer and you can gain weight big time, I'll give you that.

When I have to go for long rows, I wouldn't drink milk in the middle of a row to re-fuel.

Yeah but small amounts can still be in there, you know?

Microscopic amounts. You probably breath in more from using public transport or being in room with people.

Milk that is designed for a baby calf? It completely baffles me tbh, we're the only mammal that drinks the milk of another species, seems totally wrong to me. We have no need to drink milk after infancy but if you must there are plenty of plant based alternatives.

What do you consume, O Wise One?
