Muslims: Would you marry a someone who's not a virgin?

Wondering. I'm a Muslim myself, but not a virgin, unfortunately. Long story I don't want to get into. Well, would you have a problem? Please state your gender too. I'm a female.

Yeh I'd marry them if they've repented (assuming you're asking about those people who've had pre-marital sex?). If they thought what they did was ok, then no. Male.

I can understand why others may say no to both cases above.

Pre martial sex is a great sin in Islam. I wouldn't be able to marry someone who has lost their virginity when I have kept mine. That wouldn't be fair on me.

Not sure if I'm allowed to reply here as I'm an ex-Muslim. (male)

However, back in my Muslim days I felt that, it wasn't really about being Muslim.

My views on marrying a virgin didn't have much impact on the religion I use to practice. It was more a personal choice than a religious one.

Granted I imagine some Muslims wanting to marry a virgin for religious reasons

I'm assuming you want answers to reinsure yourself and to that I respond with: Virgin or non virgin there will be many Muslim guys who won't look down on you nor treat you differently.

Most open minded Muslims now a days don't have much of a problem with it. We live in a western world where views and ideas tend to be shifting.
