ASAP/18 since having a girlfriend can lead to sex before marriage, and that is a great sin and that path is a sin. I legitly wont mind doing it the halal way or marrying young. Because the male cant just fulfil his pleasure and leave, and the female can live her life easily without hiding anything from her family. Also it kind of encourages the young couple to put aside their lust and follow love. In this world, theres always lust, its about time love should rule. Its about time porn goes to an end, its about time guys who go after sex, stop. its about time people follow loves footsteps

You do realise the vast majority, if not all the posters here are Muslim so that's not an option, hence why we generally want to get married earlier.😂

Basically every adult is ready mentally. Humans have been getting married as early as 14 in previous generations. I think you mean socially, i.e. do you have the right foundations: a job, a house, family and friends to support...

In this society, you get most of these things at a later age. But mentally our brains are not much different to 1000 years ago.

Lol i dunno, i dont think its just to get sex.
Its just how people usually think. That they dont want to sin, so to do it the halal way.
But that said, saying we want to get married right now doesnt mean that we gonna find someone straight away and not get to know said person and just marry. Theres a process i guess. Whether ur parents find u someone or you find someone urself. You wouldnt marry for the sake of marrying someone to have sex with. Youd marry someone for them and their personality and how well they compliment you :yy:
