The thing with Black lives matter movement is it has done it very unprofessionally and it does not stand for equal rights, it stands for extra rights for blacks.

I mean they go into libraries and shout BLACK LIVES MATTER for half a hour and disrupt everything some members talk about how police and whites should be killed.

Also many think that whites owe them something for slavery, why should I a person who has never been involved in slavery give you who has never had to endue slavery anything, yeah slavery is bad but it is over now *mostly* so we owe you nothing, we should be equal and nothing more

Why don't Black lives matter? Are black people so worthless that killing them does not cause anything significant reaction? Are they so non-existent that they need a campaign (whether properly planned or not) to speak against brutality?

They matter because they are human beings, just like everybody else. They have contributed to our society and have helped civilizations to progress. There are black people, who have significantly added to this world, whether it is in Science, Engineering, Maths, Medicine, Economics etc.

We all matter in this world and need to be treated with dignity and respect.

Black Lives Matter focuses on unarmed black people.

You see - This kind of thing doesn’t happen to unarmed white kids too. You know why ? Because white people have power by virtue of being white. When a white kid dies under suspicious circumstances, people pay attention. Police don’t prey on white people.

Because they can’t. And even if you find a couple of analogous situations YOU STILL WON’T GET ANYWHERE CLOSE to what the black community experiences.

Thats not true. White Americans are below 60% of the population when you exclude Hispanics, Arabs and Jews who are lumped in together with the White population. The black population is 12.6%+. A far cry to what America used to be in the 1950s. The country is turning into a gutter.

OK. Let's start with this assumption. Why should whites support "black lives matter" when blacks don't treat whites with the dignity and respect that whites treat blacks with?


Justified deaths of blacks disproportionately higher than their demographic representation.
The total amount pales in comparison to the amount of black men killed by other black men, so if black lives matter so much...try going after the real culprit.

The more racist crap from BLM we see, the less black lives are mattering overall.

You're right. The statistics don't lie. Unarmed blacks are killed by police at five times the rate of unarmed whites.

There were 102 unarmed black people killed by police in 2015. Here they are in all their (former) glory:

But what we don't know is the colour of the policeman pulling the trigger or otherwise causing the death. We're not told. BLM want us to assume they are all white officers but that's not the reality.

Many of these unarmed "victims" were engaged in a criminal activity which resulted in them being shot. Now as every American (of all colors) driver knows that even if you get pulled over for speeding 5mph over the limit, you (1) pull over, (2) turn the ignition off, (3) lower the window and (3) keep your hands visible on the wheel. You are very cautious! You do not put the police in a position where they think they are at risk.

So, naturally, if you are stupid enough to follow the example of Lamontez Jones who on 10/20/15 actually aimed a gun at the police you can expect to be shot. It turns out that it was a toy gun but police aren't paid psychics.

This list is full of idiots who took a big gamble with their lives and lost.

There are others on this list that were simply accidents. In Birmingham, AL an officer crashed into one black man's SUV while rushing to respond to a domestic call, killing him. Should this even make the list? Accidents happen. And incidently, about 90% of the Birmingham city police are black so there's a good chance the officer driving the patrol car was black.

So, this isn't a simple matter of ratios - "proportionally more unarmed blacks being killed by white officers".

a) It's VERY UNLIKELY all those officers are white
b) You really can't fix stupid! If you wave a toy gun at a police officer of any color in the US you will probably get killed. It's that simple.
c) Some of these people should never be on the list. Accidental deaths.

BLM are making this a racial issue because they are a racist organization. But it isn't a racial issue.

People keep saying this but why would anyone protest, if the person who killed the other person is in prison therefore justice served

Yet when multiple officers choke a black guy on the street to death, shoot multiple unarmed teenagers,george Zimmerman killed a boy based on word alone, we've seen many cases were the police have lied about the person shooting first only for a video to be posted showing it never happened. Why shouldn't they protest if they don't want to see their people killed innocently and no justice has been served, with the majoirity of the time the police getting paid leave.

If the police officers were in prison for murder, you really think people will be protesting?

Protesting is good, if not for it back in the 20's-70's you'd still have segregation in schools in America if people just shut their mouths and moved along
This obsession with black people (most here haven't even met one in real life lool ) is very unhealthy
