I'm an EU student and sadly visiting is not an option.
York and QMUL are both equally strong. They will both lead you to your desired career, accompanied with the right ECs.
The question is whether you'd prefer to live in York or in London. One is quite expensive, but close to law firms so your open day and potentially VCs will be less burdensome. The other is a bit cheaper, has a different "feel" to London, and is a little bit longer of a trek should you wish to attend open days and VCs at law firms.
